Hello — I'm the mother behind NOEMA.

A few years ago we packed our lives into seven suitcases and moved from Boston to Málaga with our two children.

We weren't just changing countries—we were rebuilding our everyday life from scratch. Finding a home, navigating Spanish bureaucracy, choosing schools, understanding healthcare, creating new routines and learning what life here is really like as an international family.

Some days felt overwhelming. Others reminded us exactly why we had made the move.

NOEMA is the journal and toolkit I wish I'd had then.

It's for families who want practical guidance, honest stories and thoughtful resources to help them build a meaningful life in Spain and embrace a slower Mediterranean way of living.
